Release Notes

Born in the summer of 2000, CFS started life with the sole intention of making a brutal impact on the flourishing local Watford scene. The mixture of haunting melodies and sheer heaviness soon became their trademark - the formula remains the same to this day, if not more passionate and relentless.

The band were eager to commit their efforts to CD as quickly as possible shocked by the local frenzy they'd seemed to have caused from just a handful of shows - this came in the form of a self-released EP "Through The Precious Words", which was frantically re-pressed a number of times to meet demand Rather than sticking to playing local shows every weekend (which were often described as "prison riots"!), CFS made a decision they were going to spread their wings and take on the real world

Since then, a 2004 Mighty Atom release ("The Longest Day"), several compilation appearances and an uncompromising stage show have seen the band play and tour with the likes of Poison the Well, Shai Hulud, My Chemical Romance, The Bled, The Hope Conspiracy, Funeral For A Friend, The Distillers Sikth, Strung Out, The Haunted, From Autumn to Ashes, Hopesfall, Fightstar, The Black Dahlia Murder, Nora, Caliban, Architects, Sepultura, Shadows Fall Give It A Name '07 and countless more.

After a string of demos, tracks and short releases, CFS are proud to finally anounce the release of their full length album, out on Visible Noise in March.
